All Change At The Top
In August 2025, a new era started at Keynsham Town Football Club with the retirement of three trustees and appointment of three new ones.
In 2000, Steve Nicholls became a Trustee of the Club taking over from Ken Dowling. He was closely followed by Phil Gane and Martin Coles. With a combined total of 65 years looking after the club ensuring its ethos remained in place, 2025 sees all three Trustees retire. The retiring trustees are delighted to have identified Mike Slucutt, former Walking Football Chair, Martin Parfrey, current Seniors chair and Richard Smale, former Juniors chair as successors to move the club forward.
The retirees say “We all have enjoyed our roles through many aspects of its development over those years into a truly community based club, the biggest in the area. Whilst at times the role has been arduous, we can say it’s been a privilege to have been placed in such an important role. We hope that our replacements also enjoy the role and continue the work towards a ‘One Club’ philosophy in the coming months and years. Best wishes from Steve, Martin and Phil.“
