About Walking Football

Walking Football is a slow-paced version of the beautiful game, if you thought your footballing days were over, then think again.

It was designed to help people keep an active lifestyle irrespective of their age, as well as getting people back playing who perhaps had to stop due to injuries. It’s a great way to keep fit, learn new skills, have fun and socialise all at the same time.

At Keynsham Town the popularity of our Walking Football section continues to grow as it offer an inclusive and friendly environment for our members which caters for both men and ladies. We offer a number of sessions throughout the week and also participate in leagues and tournaments throughout the season. Our members also benefit from concession prices on our men’s senior season tickets, getting the opportunity to enjoy the match day experience and support the K’s. You also get to play on the first team pitch and take advantage of our first class facilities.

  • Tuesday 10:00am Over 65s
  • Thursday 20:00pm Over 50s
  • Friday 10:00am Over 50s

Due to Covid restrictions and FA Guidance, all sessions have to be booked in advance and unfortunately due to demand, we cannot take any new playing members at the present time. However, anyone is welcome to come along to watch and have a chat after signing in and with social distancing.

All sessions last for an hour so please arrive 15 minutes before to allow time for changing and getting pitch side.
