Following the announcements on Wednesday 19th August, the football club in collaboration with our COVID officers, Trustees and the Facilities Management Company have been holding discussions regarding preparation to welcome supporters safely back to the AJN Stadium.
Having fully considered the NLS and FA guidelines on the return of supporters to grass roots football, and taking into consideration the timescales leading up to this weekends home fixture, it is with regret to announce that we feel we are not yet in a position to safely meet all those requirements.
We appreciate that this is disappointing for all involved with the football club, however the safety and welfare of our volunteers, players, officials and our loyal supporters remains our number one priority.
Therefore this weekends fixture against visitors Welton Rovers will go ahead as originally planned behind closed doors.
We are working on preparations to ensure that supporters will safely be permitted to the AJN Stadium when we welcome visitors Exmouth Town on Tuesday 1st September. Please note we will be limited to 150 supporters inline with current guidlines.
We will be publishing details for those looking to purchase tickets for the Exmouth game which will include temperature checks on arrival, social distancing measures on entrance and once inside the ground, one way systems and track and trace.
We thank everyone for their continued support and understanding during these unprecedented time’s and look forward to welcoming you back from the 1st September.
